Why Rademaker System Integration Goes To Eaglestone for Food Conveying Systems

With 40 years of experience in the baking industry,
Rademaker System Integration has become well known for designing and building premium food processing equipment and customized industrial baking systems. And when it comes to food conveying systems for material handling applications, Eaglestone is one of Rademaker’s first calls.

“Many companies can build a case or pan conveyor, but not many understand conveyors for sanitary applications,” says Doug Hale, Director of Systems Integration at Rademaker North America. “We use Eaglestone for both, as they have the industry understanding and experience our projects require.”

Start-to-finish packaging automation

Hale recalled a recent project, a Jamaican meat patty line, where Rademaker partnered with Eaglestone to handle the packaging automation from A to Z, including moving all the cartons and packaging from start to finish.

The challenge with this line was fitting all of the automation equipment into a small space while maintaining good food safety practices. However, after eight design revisions and much collaboration with the Rademaker engineering team, the customer was happy with the layout and proceeded with the project.

The final Jamaican meat patty line project consisted of over 30 different conveyors spanning a total of more than 350 linear feet. What impressed Hale was not that the project went perfectly, but Eaglestone’s speed of reaction to needed adjustments and dedication to the project. “Rademaker is good, but things aren’t always perfect,” said Hale. “Reaction to issues is what makes an excellent vendor, and out of the fifteen vendors we were managing on that project, Eaglestone set a high bar.”

The Eaglestone differentiator

When asked what stands out about Eaglestone, Hale came back with two words: engineering depth. “On any given project, we have 3 or 4 people coming from Eaglestone’s engineering team to work with us. Our engineers and Eaglestone’s engineers work well together, and I trust what they are going to do.”

What’s next for Rademaker? The company is expanding in North America, including building a brand new customer experience center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Customers will be able to test and validate products, including Rademaker’s Radini bakery production equipment.

If you, like Rademaker, would benefit from a start-to-finish expert in food conveying systems, talk to Eaglestone any time. You’ll find that our personability, expertise and collaborative spirit make us easy and productive to work with.
