Meet the Team: Joe Gongaware

Whether he’s running a sales meeting or a marathon, Joe Gongaware is always focused on reaching the finish line. When he’s not boosting Eaglestone’s sales, Gongaware works on his distance running and achieving new personal records. He’s persistent at work and play and plans on continuing to run outdoors throughout the chilling Chicagoland winter.

Along with running, Joe loves to cook, saying “I run a lot, so I can eat a lot!” He also has a vast knowledge of tropical fish that he gained from working at a fish store when he was 14 and retains to this day.

When he’s at the office running the sales team, Joe is motivated by his fellow employees’ passion for providing the best products and customer service. Along with his team, he greatly admires his 16-year-old son who is currently battling thyroid cancer and has maintained a great attitude throughout all of his surgeries and treatment. Joe regards his son as “the strongest and most positive human being I know! Many adults, including myself, can learn great lessons from his attitude.”
