Carmen Sammauro

President

Machining is a family business for Carmen Sammauro. He started early, working in his father’s fabrication shop at the age of 13. Co-founding Eaglestone in 1990, he has continued to pursue his lifelong passion for creating and designing over the past 24 years. His ability to visualize designs before the engineering process allows him to find solutions quickly to help his employees and customers alike. Carmen loves his work and teammates and continually strives to build a solid company that can live on for generations to come.

Chris Powell

General Manager

Chris joined Eaglestone with over 12 years of experience in industrial equipment packaging, systems integration and construction in the oil & gas industry, chemical, waste to energy, pharmaceutical, biotech, personal care, food & beverage and nutraceutical industries. As a versatile professional with demonstrated operational management experience, he has a strong ability to understand and utilize organizational knowledge to coordinate interdepartmental business functions effectively and efficiently. Chris enjoys being part of a talented team of people who can work together to produce at a high output while also adapting to an ever-changing environment. He especially admires the team’s ability to overcome challenges and meet customers’ needs quickly.

Chris Barrett

Lead Engineer

Seeing his designs grow from mere ideas to fully functional pieces of machinery is why Chris enjoys engineering. Receiving his AAS in Drafting and Design Technology, he would like to continue to pursue his design knowledge with additional 3D software training in Autodesk Inventor. He appreciates the ability to think outside the box to develop new and innovative ideas for the company.

Arthur Mrumlinski

Applications Engineer

Arthur joined Eaglestone as an Applications Engineer with over 8 years in production system drafting and design. As an organized and motivated professional with AutoCAD expertise in drawing large conveyor systems and machinery layouts, Arthur’s role will include functions such as sales and concept engineering, AutoCAD drafting and design as well as project administration and coordination. At Eaglestone, he will provide excellent customer service while improving sales revenue with timely and strategic AutoCAD drawings.

John Blomquist

Engineer

John comes to Eaglestone with a background in product development earning his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Industrial Design at Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. He takes pride in his work and always strives to exceed customers’ expectations. The best part of his job is having creative freedom and seeing his designs go from the computer screen to reality. John considers his coworkers friends and is grateful and proud to be a part of the team.

Rich Payne

Engineer

Rich brings over 20 years of engineering experience to the Eaglestone team. Having previously worked as a design engineer in automation, Richard uses his up-to-date knowledge of 3D software to help him fabricate the latest innovations at Eaglestone. Richard is glad to have a first-class team around him and is delighted to be part of a group of such skilled people.

Mark Russ

Service Technician

Before joining the Eaglestone team, Mark learned to problem solve by working in assembly, construction and remodeling. Applying his skills to building conveyors and thinking on his feet often, Mark’s next career goal is to become an all-around skillful welder. To Mark, hard work and dedication pay off, and he’s glad to be part of a company that appreciates high quality work and takes care of its employees like they’re family.

David Hernandez

Sheet Metal Lead

David is a dedicated and hard-working teammate who puts all his effort into advancing Eaglestone. Punctuality is important to David, so he always gets his projects done on time. Helping the company with other jobs and learning to operate new machinery are goals for David. He is happy knowing that he is continuing to grow and that his work is truly appreciated.

Joe Gongaware

Sales Engineering Manager

Joe has numerous years of experience in the industry and puts his knowledge to good use at Eaglestone. This knowledge and his outgoing personality have allowed him to enjoy working with many customers over the years. His positive relationship with his coworkers is why Joe is glad to be a part of the team.

Zach Siwiec

Engineer

After graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2018, Zach began working with Eaglestone as an Engineer. His favorite aspects of collaborating with the team are taking part in creative problem-solving during projects as well as working in the supportive environment that makes the work even more enjoyable. Outside of Eaglestone, he loves exercising, watching professional sports and spending time with family and friends.

Kyle Schultz

Engineer

After graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University, Kyle started at Eaglestone, bringing a diverse background of skills from numerous industries to the team. His experiences involve working as an autobody repair tech as well as being employed by Continental AG in the hydraulic/industrial hose and fitting sector. What Kyle likes best about Eaglestone is how having to solve unique challenges for each unique project keeps things interesting, which allows him to use his creative thinking skills. When he’s not at the office, he works on various projects in his garage—RC cars, motorcycles or one of his three Jeeps—and cooks for friends and family.

Ashly Villanueva

Administrative Assistant, HR, Purchasing

Having worked as a bank teller and other customer service positions, Ashly is very outgoing and friendly to clients and coworkers alike. Along with her upbeat attitude, her father raised her to always be the best, which she strives to do everyday. Currently busy raising twin boys, she hopes to finish her accounting certificate in the coming years. Ashly believes in Eaglestone and loves that every member of the team gives their all to make the company the best it can be.

Michael Amato

Foreman

During Michael’s decade at Eaglestone, he’s learned many skills from working on the floor in various departments. He enjoys sharing his in-depth knowledge with his coworkers and motivates others to contribute to the growth of the company. He appreciates the opportunities that Eaglestone has provided him and enjoys coming to work every day.

Jacob Sammauro

Engineering Intern

Jacob started out pushing a broom, but eventually worked his way up in the company to Machinist and Lead Welder and now holds a current position as an Interning Engineer. He comes from a family of fabricators and has been interested in manufacturing since high school, where he was the youngest student to win a Manufacturing Association Award. Jacob enjoys working with his hands and collaborating with his teammates to continue to develop his skills every day.

Jesus Vega

Lead Saw Operator

Jesus Vega has gained a lot of knowledge over his 18 years with Eaglestone. Having moved up in sawing to his current Lead Saw position, he wants to continue to grow and gain more responsibility in his field. Jesus truly enjoys his job and is thankful for the opportunity to work at Eaglestone.

Benito Cuevas

Lead Grinder

Benito Cuevas is a hard worker with a great attitude. His dedication and willingness to learn and grow have helped him gain his Grinder Lead position. He appreciates the confidence that the company has in his abilities and looks forward to Eaglestone’s future.

David Summers

Director

David Summers has truly lived out the American Dream. Beginning at the tender young age of 11, he worked through every position in the shop, learning each division of work until co-founding Eaglestone in 1990. His in-depth knowledge of the company helps him to keep the business running smoothly each and every day. David always keeps his employees’ best interests in mind and strives to make sure that everyone is taken care of. Maintaining Eaglestone’s integrity is David’s main goal, always making sure the company is honest and trustworthy to both customers and employees.

Miguel Perez

Lead Machine Operator

Even though Miguel Perez has been with Eaglestone for 7 years now, he continues to learn something new everyday. He likes putting this knowledge into action and working hard whenever new opportunities and challenges present themselves. Miguel always helps his teammates and appreciates them for their constant support.
